Terms and Conditions

Payment

Payment is due at the time you register for a class.  If space permits, a participant may be permitted to switch to another class (same course) without additional cost.

Registration

Space in our classes is limited and early registration is encouraged.  The registration deadline is seven days prior to the date of a class, however late registration is possible if space permits. Please note, that registrations will be confirmed in writing including location, date and time.

Registration by a Participant shall indicate to IDEA and its Instructor acceptance of all Terms and Conditions. 

Attendance

Participants are required by state, provincial and society rules and regulations to attend the coure in its entirety in order to obtain credit for their attendance. Participants with business and personal obligations should make separate arrangements, prior to class,  in order to attend a course.

Cancellation

A course may be cancelled if a written request (not voice mail) by the participant (only) is received ten (10) days prior to the scheduled date of that class. All cancellations are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.  Refunds are not provided to “No Shows” or those removed from a class for inappropriate behavior as deemed by IDEA.

A participant cancelling a course within ten (10) days of the scheduled date of that class, shall be provided with a credit from IDEA.  This individual may apply this credit (equal in value to the payment made) towards the same class, at another date and time, or to any course offering of IDEA with a period of one (1) calendar year.

IDEA reserves the right to cancel any class due to unforeseen circumstances as deemed by IDEA.  IDEA also reserves the right to cancel a class due to minimum registration requirements not being met. In such cases, registrants for these classes shall receive a refund of the registration cost or be allowed to apply it to another class being offered.

Limitations and Exclusions

IDEA and its Instructors assume no responsibility or liability, regardless of delivery format, for any information presented and used by the participant without the prior written approval of IDEA and the Instructor.  IDEA and its Instructors assume no responsibility for any personal or property loss of damage in conjunction with any course or class.

IDEA and its Instructors shall not be held responsible for accidents, deaths, detention, annoyance or delays caused or expenses arising from same. IDEA and its Instructors shall not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury caused by strikes, weather, sickness, military action or government restrictions for which it has no control.

Itinerary

IDEA shall be permitted to make reasonable changes to the schedule, course outline or delivery format as deemed necessary for the comfort, well-being or security of the participants as deemed by IDEA.
