IDEA is a multidisciplinary design firm specializing in architecture, interior design and communication and visual arts.  The firm evolved out a large international practice in order to have a more hands-on approach to meeting the needs our clients.  IDEA was founded on the concept that design needs to be effective and appropriate and should allow those working on a project to have the freedom to employ all of their abilities, skills and talents.

Design solutions should deliver the same message across all media. Architecture and interior design solutions should be unique and distinctive in their marketplace. Signage and environmental graphics need to speak to a chosen market and communicate effectively.  Logos, brochures, reports, newsletters and promotional materials need to positively influence the behavior of their target audience and should be capable of integrating with the overall design.  These are our beliefs and how we do business everyday.

Every year, IDEA has grown in response to filing our clients’ needs and has continued to expand its capabilities to provide a complete range of design services.  The firm has been recognized as being innovative in its approaches and has the unique opportunity to be hired by our design and engineering peers to assist them in their work, both locally and internationally.  IDEA has also been recognized for it business processes and has taken its share of professional and personal accolades and industry and community awards.

Accolades and awards aside, IDEA’s practice includes both local, regional and national commissions and our portfolio of work stretches across four continents. Our staff has designed projects in over twenty states and they have also executed projects in seven countries.
