New Hospital Wayfinding and Design Course

IDEA announced today that its summer schedule will include a 4.0 hour course on ”Hospital Wayfinding and Design.”  The course is designed to provide architects, interior designs and healthcare professionals with an introduction as to how people navigate in hospitals and medical centers and ways of  improving getting from Point A, to Point B and beyond.  The course will also examin principles of hospital wayfinding and the difference between preceptions and realities. The course will also discuss ways of improving the user experience and decreasing stress.
